The room was new-fashioned and luxurious with very comfy beds. The location was remote, stunning in the pub too. The affable staff offered us a savoury and satisfactory breakfast.

The rooms are in a new block and have all modern conveniences. Beds huge, bathroom very well equipped. Quiet rural location but near Ilminster and plenty to do in the area. Staff helpful and friendly, good breakfast and you can have lunch and dinner in the pub too.

Very nice, spacious bathroom. Large room, well equipped.
I was very surprised to see on arrival that the bed was very poorly made up with creased, unironed sheets abd quilt cover. The room was very chilly and it took quite a while for the heating to be put on.

I enjoyed that the development was new. The room was big with plenty of space. Good true home English cooking with big portions. The surrounds were rural and quiet which was relaxing.

I was staying on business therefore did not sightsee.
The accomodation was new and clean however the Pub where you go for meals lets it down, requires a good clean and they need to get rid of the dog smell.Staff were friendy and location was fine.

The rooms were new and of a high standard, built in a courtyard so a door to outside which I like. The bed must have been well over 7ft wide and very comfortable. The pub itself was small and cosy and had a ver old-fashioned country pub feel about it. Clearly frequented by locals which is always good. The food was interesting and way above the standard that we would have expected. Breakfast enormous and again exceptional
Very little. Maybe 9:00am is a bit late to start breakfast but it was worth waiting for.

Celebrating our anniversary here was a real treat! We loved the cozy atmosphere by the garden and the quiet retreat it offered, along with having a fantastic meal that was hard to match anywhere else. The only hiccup was not finding any soap in the bathroom, but it didn’t dampen our spirits at all – I’d definitely say go for the delicious menu! 🎉

The owners greeted us as soon as we arrived. And although the pub was not opened at the time of our arrival we were offered a sandwich which was very much appreciated. Our en-suite room was very comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend this hotel.
